Signs that point to the return of Jesus Christ are everywhere.
We have seen and experienced such a rapid increase in technologies and sciences over the last 100 years that many of our advancements have baffled the imagination of many a sceptic and thought processes of those who thought it could not possibly be possible.
One of the "End Time" signs according to Daniel 12:4 is the increase in travel and knowledge..."But you Daniel, Keep this prophecy a secret; seal up this book untill the time of the end. Many will rush here and there, and knowledge will increase."
People who take the Bible seriously should not be passive about this truth of prophetic significance. From Orville and Wilburt Wright's simple beginnings to the amount of air traffic in our sky, Our mode and methods of transportation has been explosive in as little as 100 years of time.
We also must note and consider seriously the knowledge and air power of many of the military establishments of several nations worldwide.
This growth has been exponential and explosive!
Rushing " here and there" as scripture puts it can also be related to our need for speed as we travel in our vehicles and rush from one place to another, just trying to save a couple of minutes of time.
Our knowledge of travel and our knowledge of technolgies have both increased and can be used in tandom. From our cell phones to our internet computers, we have the ability to communicate instantly all over the world. From the webcam/lifecam we can be anywhere instantly.
Scientific discoveries, advances in medicine, computers designing computers, various news broadcasts that can be seen through out the world at the flip of a hand held romote is a sign of our new age of time.
Daniel was told that this sign would usher in "untill the time of the end"

Luke 21:25-28
"There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth. Dismay among the nations, perplexity at the roaring of the sea and their waves. Men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But when these things begin to take place, straighten up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."
Our weather patterns have not been normal or ordinary. Over the last several decades the world's weather related happenings have been on the increase and have also been quite intense and extraordinary.
We can blame it on global warming or whatever you want, the fact is they are increasing and the Bible has laid out the prophecy on this truth ages ago. Also see; Matthew 24:7-8, Mark 13:8
Solar flares, Comets, Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Tsunamis, Derecho storms, Tornados, Tidal waves, Astroids and Volcano eruptions have all seen an uptick. In some cases a dramatic increase in the number of outbursts as well as the intensity have been steadily on the rise.
The 2010 hurricane season which offically kicks off June 1, has been forcasted as "much more active with above normal threats on U.S. coastlands, whith a forecasted chance to be an extreme season"
We can easily become boared and desensitized to prophetic related scriptures when we are living in the midst of slowly increasing disasters. Therfore we should be extra careful about not ignoring the signs in the heavens.
